A few quick answers
Do players need to download an app?
No. Birdies & Alibis works in a web browser on a phone or computer.
Can I use it without a league?
Yes. My Golf keeps personal rounds separate from league play. You can also share a casual scorecard with today’s partners.
Can this assistant build the event for me?
No. This website guide recommends a product; it does not create an event. Its job is to help you choose and understand the product. Guided setup inside the app is a later phase, and will require your review before anything is created.
Are formats, handicaps and side contests the same thing?
No. Choose the main playing format first, then confirm gross or handicap-adjusted net scoring where supported. Skins, closest-to-pin and longest-drive contests are separate choices in supported event builders, not replacements for the main format. A format label does not promise every handicap variation or automatic prize calculation.
Where will the guide fit on the website and in the app?
The website guide helps you choose and understand a product. Optional links appear below the homepage hero and on pricing, league and tournament pages, without a mandatory popup. Later, “Help me set up my event” in the app will prepare an editable draft for your approval. An event-building assistant inside the app is not available yet.
Does it connect to my tee sheet or book tee times?
This guide does not connect to course software or book tee times. Course search is available in supported app builders; it does not confirm tee-time availability.
