Is Buddies really free?+
Yes. A Buddies group can include up to 16 members, with up to eight active scorers in each free round. No credit card is required.
What if our group needs more room?+
Buddies Plus supports up to 40 players for $39 per year. You can create the group and run its first four events free before choosing whether to subscribe.
Are the screenshots real?+
Yes. The scorecard shown above is from Birdies & Alibis using fictional demo golfers.
Do we all have to play together?+
No. Best Rounds can include separate qualifying rounds. Comparisons respect course, tee and hole configuration; an 18-hole total is not ranked directly against a nine-hole total.
What if our group becomes a formal league?+
Birdies & Alibis also supports structured schedules, larger rosters, flights, games, finances and commissioner workflows through its League plans.
Is this a rangefinder app?+
No. Buddies focuses on your group, rounds, scores and shared history—not GPS, shot tracking or swing analysis.
